He specializes in stress, anxiety and trauma: relationships, self esteem issues and the integration of mind and body. He has taught, trained and supervised other psychotherapists and was the Director of Training for his professional society. He is both a Certified Bioenergetic Therapist (CBT) and a Somatic Experiencing Practitioner (SEP). Current Interests: One current interest is in the area of Self Esteem: insecurity, self doubt, self criticalness, feeling "not good enough", and/or feeling like you don't "measure up". Another current interest is in the area of Trauma and Overwhelm:feeling like life is too much: excessive worry, anxiety, or rumination; feeling paralyzed frozen or numb; feeling panicked or drifting off from the task at hand-the inability to be present. Specializations: Anxiety, stress relationships, self-esteem and insecurity, trauma and PTSD, depression and mind-body issues.
Bioenergetic Therapists have met all of the licensing requirement as Mental Health Providers in their state of licensure. In addition, they have completed a rigorous four year post-graduate course of study in Bioenergetic Analysis. They are specifically trained to work with the relationship between the mind, emotions, and the body. Additional hours of supervision qualify a graduate for certification as a Bioenergetic Therapist (CBT).
