I believe that families can get into painful, dysfunctional habits that keep them from enjoying one another and growing individually and together. It is at those times than an objective, skilled therapist can help the family members reconnect with one another in a positive, strong relationship. Indeed, strong personal relationships often provide the healing force for our emotional wounds. I have provided adult, child, teen and family therapy since 1993. I have been a University Faculty member since 1977, teaching in human sexuality, substance abuse prevention, health behavior and gender relations.
